Data Confidentiality
The ABS applies small random adjustments to all cell values to protect the confidentiality of data. These adjustments may cause the sum of rows or columns to differ by small amounts from the table totals.
Notes
A score for a Statistical Area is created by adding together the weighted characteristics of that area. The scores for all areas are then standardised to a distribution where the average equals 1000 and the standard deviation is 100.
